One thing I am awful at is organization, especially when it comes to tax documents. I try and for awhile I do pretty good but all it takes for me is one time that I slack off and don’t put something away, and my whole system is out the window. With tax season in full swing, there are receipts, bills, and other various tax documents that I am now scrambling about looking for.

I received a set of these products, and first off they are adorable! Next, they are of course super functional and a great way to try to get my act together with paperwork. I have decided to keep all my receipts together throughout the year in the 26-pocket durable pocket expanding folder, while clipping important pages that I need to take car of together in the front.  What I love most about it is that it has a handle so I can carry it to my desk, to the kitchen table, and wherever else I need it!  Another way for me to organize is there regular 13-pocket Expanding folder, which is basically the same as the 26-pocket folder, but it doesn’t have a handle or stand up.  Both expanding folders though are an easy way to separate out documents and store them easily.  I also received a package of 12 file folders which are so nice that it makes me want to leave m file cabinet drawer open!  Next, I received an 8-pocket durable Organizational folder.  Now this is actually one of my favoirte items for everyday items that I need handy or need to follow up with.  It is made of durable plastic that will not tear out.  Finally, I received adorable paper clips and binder clips to of course accessorize my documents!

So I haven’t watched or read anything Richard Scarry since I was a kid, and this DVD brought back good times. Richard Scarry has been entertaining and educating kids with Busytown characters, including Huckle Cat, Lowly Worm and Hilda Hippo. It has great graphics and it is not at all cheesy at I expected.

There are six episodes on this DVD so you can watch them separately or watch them all at once! I know we prefer episodes because my boys can’t sit for the length of a whole DVD usually, so this is perfect for them to watch a few episodes, play, and then come back. Although, this DVD is so cute they have watched it in its entirety. The episodes also are wholesome and perfect to get your kids in the mood for springtime! I also don’t mind watching it with them and I know that they are watching something appropriate.

Last summer I purchased my son a play kitchen with a huge assortment of play food. Immediately I noticed how cheap the plastic food was and un-realistic it looked. Now he doesn’t care too much, maybe because he is a boy, but I think it would be so much more fun to play with realistic looking food.

Well an Etsy store called The Whimsical Gourmet creates adorable looking play food creations all at reasonable prices. Attention is paid to details as she creates adorable felt play food in all different varieties. Some of her selections are pastas, egg rolls, chocolate-covered strawberries, and more! I am Karen Robison, a 25 year old stay at home mother to a vibrant toddler. I’ve dabbled with being crafty off and on since I was a child, but just hadn’t found my niche. 

Last year I entered into a giveaway for a child’s wooden play kitchen and won! I decided to put it away for Christmas, which wasn’t for a few more months. I had a friend who had told me about felt play food, so I decided to try my hand at making some to go along with my daughter’s play kitchen. In November I taught a mini-class and did a craft show. I then decided to create an online shop on Etsy, just to see what happened. I sold my first order within 2 hours! I love my shop and I love what I do. I also love the fact that I don’t have to do it away from my child. It gives me joy to sit down, pour my ideas on paper, study the real items, and then recreate them into felt play food. Then comes the really fun part, my tester. After I was done creating the Deluxe Sushi Set, I gave a sushi roll to my 21 month old daughter. She immediately gave me a big grin and said “susi”. It made me really proud of my work, that a young toddler knew what it was right away. She clings to all my creations and tries to take them everywhere with her. She loves to “gook”.

I adore the smiles I get when children see and play with my felt play food. It’s also great for their creative, social, and verbal development too!

One item that everyone uses (hopefully) is soap. Whether it be a bar, gel, or some other form, soap not only makes you feel clean but also is a great way to pamper yourself. Soap can also be a great gift idea, because who couldn’t use some pampering, but I wouldn’t recommend giving someone a plain ole’ bar of soap or plain bottle of body wash. You have to make it special and unique!

Well Sudz N Bubbles makes such adorable products that it is hard not to buy them for yourself and as gifts! I think the story behind the company is great too! Cindy was told be her son’s doctor to try glycerin soap for his eczema. After seeing how expensive glycerin soap is, she decided to learn how to make her own! Her addiction grew to include lotion, bath salts, shower gel, body butter, and lip balm!

I got the opportunity to review some of her items, especially her Bubblin Bakery soaps, and all I can say is “Wow!” She is so creative and definitely a soap artist! Her soaps look so real and yummy that they are tempting to eat! They are actually dangerous because they made me what to go on a real bakery run! All of her Bubblin Bakery items are 100% glycerin soap and whether you keep them for yourself or give them as a gift (hint: Mother’s Day) they are sure to create a smile when you use them, or just display them! The best part though is that the items come in nice packaging so they look even more real, for example the pie comes in a plastic-like to-go container you would get at a bakery or restaurant! These would even make great party, shower or wedding favors!  Just her bars of soap are so pretty! Oh and I even got to try the S.W.A.K (Sealed With A Kiss) Lip Balm and it is an all-natural chapstick that leaves your lips so smooth and moisturized!

Other products that look awesome to me are her Cold and Flu Bath Salt Soak, Sleepy Time Bath Salt Soak, and Sudz Pops, but that is only naming a few. I highly recommend Sudz and Bubbles products to soothe your skin and pamper yourself! Her prices are also reasonable and she even has a On Sale section. Make sure though if there is something you really like you buy it as soon as you can, because some of her items have limited quantities but it will say how many are remaining. Sudz and Bubbles has also had a product featured on HGTV last year so they are definitely an up and company to watch!

One company that I have grown up with and now serve proudly to my family, is Banquet home-style frozen dinner meals. Banquet offers such a variety that we have yet to get bored of them and they offer both lunch and dinner entrees. So whether I want to prepare a quick (yet yummy) meal or just want something comforting, I also dig in my freezer for anything Banquet!

Another part of Banquet I love is that I can serve up indivudal meals (especially with my picky eaters) or I can purchase a meal perfect for all four of us! I especially love their Crock-Pot Classics and classic Salsibury Steak dinners! My sons love Chicken Fingers and Macaroni & Cheese! My husband loves anything I put in front of him!  They are all reasonably priced and I have yet to be disappointed by anything I have tasted.

MY REVIEW:

This book could not have came at a better for me, as I read it to get in the spirit of Valentines Day.  It is an adorable book of 2-3 page stories that focus on love, dating, romance, and marriage.  This book begins with an introduction from Kristi Yamaguchi (famous ice skater) and her hockey playing husband, telling how they met and fell in love.  It was a nice way to start the book and showed that celebrities expierence the whole love, dating, and marriage thing just like the rest of us!

Throughout the book, I laughed and cried at all the tales that made me feel both relied that it didn’t happen to me and surprised that I was also in the similar situation.  The book makes you feel giddy inside and since it is real-life stories, it is not like a romance novel, just like two friends talking!  I enjoyed reading a story here and there and picking it up to read all 101 stories!

MY REVIEW:

Honestly, I know nothing about NASCAR and I really don’t like the sport in general, but I still appreciated the book and I know quite a few people who would love it!  The stories are real and told fro drivers and other NASCAR insiders.  The book is also neatly broken down into sections including: 
Lessons Learned, Dale, Behind and Beyond the Wheel, Never Give Up, Romance and Other Random Acts of Racing, Behind the Billboards, The Secrets to Success, Heroes Everyday and Otherwise, The Business of Speed, The Best Medicine, On (and Off) Track, and All in the Family.

I really think my father-in-law who I have never seen touch a book, might even enjoy this Chicken Soup bool because he is a HUGE NASCAR fan!  If all else it can be a bathroom book for the man in your life!  (Come on that is where they read anyways!)  It is easy to pick up and read a story since it is only 2-3 pages.  I would definitely recommend this book for any NASCAR fan or car fan in general really!

MY REVIEW:  

Aimed at preschoolers ages 3-5 years old, this was perfect childrens counting app for my son.  He is slowly learning to count and the animals and adorable graphics only added to the fun!  It is super simple to use and you just drag the items into the circle.  It will then display and say the number of items.  The images are different for each number and even though it may seem boring to an adult, my 3 year old plays it over and over!  Another thing your child will learn is how the two items compare, for example the cat counts balls of yar and the bird counts feathers.  I would highly recommend this simple iphone counting game!

Nursing your child is something that many women want to stay private with. I mean you have to nurse your child (if your breastfeeding) when they are hungry, but you probably don’t want to be exposed or experience an accident of a blanket falling off. Now I honestly didn’t exactly nurse my boys (I pumped, but they wouldn’t latch) but I have seem many women struggle with privacy while nursing.
The Cover-Me is a convenient and reasonably priced solution for nursing moms on the go. It is just a simple strap, but on both ends are clips that you clip to a baby’s blanket, which you most likely are carrying around anyways! It is compatible though with any towel or cloth product also! I love how small it is, because as moms we have to carry around enough!

Okay here is the best part about Cover-Me, it is not just for nursing! You can also use it to create a bib in a restaurant, using napkins, as a lovey leash, or attach it to your stroller to create a sun cover! Yes, this simple little strap has so many uses, and it is still fashionable! I actually think it would be a great way to just strap on a blanket over a baby when your just holding your baby in the sun, nursing or not!

Cover-Me is an awesome product that has been recognized by DisneyFamily.com, featured in numerous media outlets, and is a iParenting Media Award Winner. The only flaw that I noticed, is I might have liked it a little longer in length, but overall, it does it’s job! It also eliminates nursing covers, and you may think that well you still have to attach it to a baby’s blanket, but really don’t most moms carry those around anyways!
